Industrialist from Tunguska Karelia.

From the age of 8, sailed the sea. In the years 1892-1893 he spent forced wintering at Malye Karmakuly on Novaya Zemlya. In 1898 he participated in the expedition of the artist A.A. Borisov in Matochkin Shar. In the years 1892-1893 participated as a sailor in the expedition E.V. Toll on the “Zaria” (according to Wiese, V.Yu., 1948)

The southeastern cape of Nansen Island in the Nordenskiöld archipelago. Named by Russian Polar expedition in 1901.
