The ensign-surveyor, researcher of the Bear Islands.
In March – April 1769 together with A.
Pushkarev, I.
Leontiev and the
detachment, made an accurate and detailed inventory of them. In
1770 and 1771 with
the same satellites, unsuccessfully searching for the “Andreev Land”
to the northeast and east of the Bear Islands, having traveled about
300 km on the ice. In
February 1771 with the same satellites for the third time
unsuccessfully searched for this land.
